Removing Paint from Toomey T5's

Success!! Aircraft Remover did the trick on the red stuff. Still not sure what it was but the aircraft remover bubbled it up and I was able to wipe it away without affecting the chrome. Thanks for all the input, Now I can move on to polishing the silencers. Will post before and after pics of the whole system once finished.

I've seen that. It looks tits. However I don't think there are many good translucent powders that can handle the heat of expansion chambers. I remember seeing NitroTate do some nice blue on here, but that's about all I've seen as far as powder on pipes that isn't black, cream, or silverish.

i would like to see a set done up. might look around for a pair of fmf headers cheap, rechrome them and then shoot them transparent purple. Im in the process of building a purple banshee, gonna have all chrome and anodized purple hardware on it. would look bitchin!
