locogato11283
If you're so confident a bike with an 8 year old top end is worth a pile of money, list it and see what you get out of it.

WINDYCITYJOHN400
It always cracks me up..... We see top quality $15, 000 built bikes with Cascade quality bling that can't sell for $6000 on a site with thousands of knowledgeable members. Yet people think a clean mostly stock bike is worth $3500????? I could buy that same bike with a full aftermarket suspension and porting for a price like that. There was a 4mill Serval bike with WORKS shocks, +2 arms and a +4 swinger that sold for that kind money. Good Luck.
jriffe23
Why is an 8 year old top end bad I got a buddy with an 87 mint bike that has never been touched mechanically and still runs like new. So yeah a 8 year old top end Is just as good if treated right. Do a compression test on them. Trust me they need to be done. I wouldnt share with the buyer that it has that long on a top end, you'll never sell it. Good luck though. Its a 2-stroke, meaning its meant to need to be rebuilt. $3500 is too much. Drop it to maybe $2000 or lower and you might sell it. Good day. Edited July 31, 2014 by jriffe23
