protoolsuser81
Right now my banshee runs great and has pretty good compression but I'm planning on getting some porting work done and would like to just freshen it up this winter while I have the motor apart for the porting. What exactly would you do in this situation? Get it honed out and then but new rings to match that and keep the same pistons? Buy everything new including pistons and bore it out ext...? I've only rebuilt stuff that had been blown up and needed everything redone and never just done a quick and easy freshen up. Any info or help would be great. trickedcarbine
Have who ever is porting them decide I it is fine with a hone and fresh pistons or if it needs a bore and larger pistons. Regardless, it's nice to put something back together that you know is fresh. Get all your stuff from whoever does the cylinder work.
