2004LEBanshee
None for me its actually easier then my 4 mill serval. Didnt have a lockup for that but ran heavy fast springs
CottonBranchRacing
These work pretty good CottonBranchRacing My favorites
sprinklerman
Why? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk They both work fine. No complaints there.I just like the beefier design of the Mattoon better...As well as the fastener hardware and the way everything is held together better, imo. dozer
like the others have said you can pull the lever regardless off what gear or how high the rpms are. if that wasnt the case there would be alot more bent shift forks.
LaegerEliminator
Excellent feed back guys! Thanks!! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
LaegerEliminator
So can I expect to be able to slip and feather the clutch like usual for traction control and technical riding? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
special06shee
Absolutely.
2004LEBanshee
Yea no diff. You could run real light springs and heavier weights and this would allow it to slip a tad at low rpms and not stall or bog. If done right.would be better the a stock setup
m671054
It would have to be real lite springs (like 1/2 pressure of a stock) to slip on a dirt/trail bike. I would not think there would be enough load on the motor
LaegerEliminator
Its about a 70 HP +/- motor. Nothing too crazy Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
possum
I power. Shift a 10 mill cub with a lockup all day. Not sure where the lockups dont shift or you cant pull the lever started either. My bike feels exactly like a stock bike at the clutch lever at all rpms and gears. Seems perfect for a mx bike. There is no difference in feel or rideability. what springs and weight on fingers do you have.
m671054
In your application its not worth the money. You could run 6 cut stock springs with a lockup with stock weights and it would apply similar pressure to what you have now. Use the money to find more tq to get you out of the corners. LaegerEliminator
The goal is to maintain strong clutch pressure while reducing clutch lever effort. I am certain would smoke my clutch going back to all stock springs. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
n2otoofast4u
Mattoon...... The only way to go. You would be surprised how much the stock springs will hold if there is a lockup backing them up.
LaegerEliminator
I checked out the Mattoon a little bit ago. Looks like they only offer one model that is borderline severe duty? Am I finding that right? Looked like a 10 plate setup over all package/system. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
