BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Just like any alky bike. Unless u run a fuel pump then u just tap the jug by the intake. Pingel/hose/pump to other hose/and hose from pump to the tap. Other hose goes straight to the carb

BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Lol it was on gas in that pic. At first I was running a 41mm for 20% nitro 80 alky now I'm gonna be running 50/50 with a 44mm carb
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
I don't even know what mechanical injection is and I've never seen it done around here
Burke
50% nitro?... make sure you get a few cranks sent out for rebuild ahead of time and let CP know to have plenty of pistons on the shelf ready to go.

Burke
good deal then... I haven't heard of a whole lot of Honda engines living too long with anything more than 30%
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Some guys are running 70 out here. In the trx 450s and yfz's. If there was enough spark, or a 2 plugged head they'd be running 90 to
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Ok, I bought carbs, intakes and cables, and I got some 10 paddles I was running 9s, how much faster will I be with alky 38s over gas 33s? Should I get a fuel pump? Have 17cc domes should I get 15? Any more input on what I should bump the timing up to?
RadarRacing
On a stock stroke and since you are new to alky start at 7 degrees. Also get rid of the bb in the gas cap and make sure you run a gas tank vent tube, no fancy billet end. Check the carbs out well when you get them. I am also in the definately purge camp. I purge after a weekend of riding for sure.
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Thanks everyone. .. I bought the carbs off a bike that was stock stroke and raced at sea level. I have a stock stroke bike too and will be at sea level? Will the jetting be in the ball park? If dialed in correctly, how much faster will I be going from 33mm gas carbs to 38mm ally carbs?
