Klotz
2001 banshee, pro circuit pipes, boost bottle, boisen reeds, reed spacer, trail tech, wheel spacer, 4 degree ignition key, ITP +2 inch offset rims front and back, renthal fatty bars,no air box, 2 k&n air filters, outerwears,ITP tires all around, 18 inch front, coolant bottle moved up front, ALBA tribal graphics kit, custom lowering kitcoming soon....noss heads and maybe toomey t5 pipes Anything about rear tire size in there. The calculator is pretty accurate. 16/41 with a 22inch tire will give you 90+. Show me some proof of 90+ mph with reed spacers, boost bottle, and stock front fenders. You can scan some timeslips, put a video up or something like that. Somehow, I think it would take a solid core rocket to do 90+ mph with the limited motor ability that would have. right now i have18 inch front tires and 19 rear but when i did the 93 mph...it was when it was not mine..and ill ask the guy tonight what size tires......and they are not stock front fenders..they are maier race cut.. Wallrat
Actually having a chase car to give you your speed won't give you an accurate measurement. The spedo's in cars arent very accurate. The manufactures know this so they error them on the side of going faster. Every vehicle is different, and some makes tend to be closer to actual speed than others. Also something to consider is whether the stock wheels are on the car. These errors aren't small either, I'm talking about the spedometer saying 100mph steady and the radar gun showing 89mph. So maybe that little tricked out turbo rollerskate that tit's friend was driving was rolling on some 10's. In that case tit, yup you were going 120 relative to the piece of shit that was following you. But in real life speed, you were probably closer to 75mph. If you measured out the exact distance of say a 1/4 mile, started a timer as you entered the measured area, and ended the timer exactly when you left the measured area, you'd see that you were no where near that fast. tithead
right...well....uh...shit! blue, thanks for what you said. the only thing is id like some good hard evidence even if the bike doesnt do 120mph. im just going buy what my mates have said to me and iv been questioning them about it since this topic started. they still say thats what it does. another thing is i live in scotland. i cant just walk into the police station and say "hey you, iv got a quad thats not registered for the road has no tax and iv been going up and down the road trying to find out what speed im doing" or if they see me on the road they will clock me and give me a ticket for it and ill lose my lisence before iv got it! the best way to do this is to do an asphalt drag but the nearest track is about 100miles away which for me is loads cos britian is a small place. i took what walrat said in mind and my mate say he had to redo the wiring on his car cos it was fucked. in a way this is a confession that i dont do 120mph and i stupidly beleived my friends and this has caused a massive argument. ill try and go to the polic station and see if they will clock me. rejection isnt a nice thing....but it builds character. oh well im going out to fix the lite on the shee and then go and play in the snow even tho its 02:30am. cheers
