A lot have come out of the box bad. Some run, but there is a mysterious high end misfire. Others have ran great for a few days then crap out. And far and few between have a good stator. Dixie normus Posted July 17, 2014 Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 yup..... pos stator..... the good thing is though.... there are few people that can re wind them for you to be solid and reliable.. only down fall is... he doesnt always do them.. its kind of a.. yea ill do it or nah I wont type of deal... user name sheerider1026 His name is Gary Ill be re winding them myself soon if I ever get the wiring I need from Ebay I had one... it ohmed good but would crap out when I reved it up past a certain rpm He only does them in the fall and winter.
