JDively910
I took pvl off because of the bogg off the line and put the stock igniton on to get the torque off the line and I seemed to loose mph pretty bad I was wonder what I should set it on for the stock ign not pvl.... I was told up to 10 and 12... but 12 seems crazy..I didn't no what the ratio was from stock to pvl.. .and I apologize if you answered it. CottonBranchRacing
You took the good ignition off. If you back off your static pressure, you'll get past that bog. 100 is a lot, 80 is safer and it'll give it a little more leg. J-Madd
Hard to compare PVL to oem timing. Very little retard in the PVL.
CottonBranchRacing
It's about a 16degree swing from max timing. Starts at 0, goes to plus 8, then drops to minus 8. An OEM cdi curve isn't far from that, goes from like ..plus 8 to plus 20ish and back. And they aren't all exactly the same. Varies from box to box. You'll need a dial and degree wheel to compare the two CottonBranchRacing
camatv
peg the stocker. rotate it as far as it will go. back off one degree and watch your tune. compare times.. do some real tuning to both and see what works best.
