WINDYCITYJOHN400
You keep saying that, but we keep going up there and everytime it's 8-10 wide racing. Hell Joe was out there with his Thundercat bike making passes, so I don't wanna hear anymore bullshit about "No place to drag" Ride or Pose......but don't blame the dust on your bike on puddles and weather. Anyone who's not sequestered at home with an unusually heavy menstrual cycle is welcome to join the fun. Those who are worried about getting their maxipads wet can stay home and watch Lifetime. shanYE west
I was out there yesterday. It rained the last couple days. Unless beach dries out there is only room for 2-3 wide and it just rained again last nite. Just letting everyone know the conditions. Northeast corner didn't look bad, I'll check it again today. It's spotty showers but we keep getting hit. Supposed to rain today and tomorrow hopefully two days is enough for it to dry up a bit. Frankthetank
The forecast showed that the rain was going to stop on tues night and be dry all the way thru the weekend. Hopefully it dries up on the dragstrip. Should be a great weekend weather-wise.
shanYE west
Accuweather is calling for partly sunny with showers on we'd (android weather). It's light rain right now. If Sun would pop out it would help a lot. And with the low temps I don't see it drying up too fast. I'll snap some pics of the strip this afternoon. 87sheerips
The dunes suck for drag racing right now. But you will make do... If there is a will, there is a way.

cashman
Yea it sucked on the 5th hopefully we get a dry spell up there soon. May just go to the track the 25 and 26.
alcoholbanshee
The dunes track by the beach was real wet last saturday.......pretty much a waste. I may come up for the day saturday, but just with the dune bike.
Frankthetank
Maybe we will have to find a different section to drag in. It doesn't help with Lake Michigan being so high this year. Just a year of a high water table. But I know our group will have fun flying thru the directional hills and roosting off the tops of each hill. My thumb is getting twitchy just thinking about it. shanYE west
Only about 100 ft before whoops get brutal. I made a few passes. Leave 2 shift 3 and grab clutch and brake. Don't even have time to run 3rd out a bit.
