It is this very reason that people start tearing you down Thack.  You need to research some of your plans and ideas just a little further at times.  Too often you come across as knowing it all and then you seem to refuse to listen to what others are trying to tell you.  At least this time you remained calm were open minded enough to take in the suggestion.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I've been a little easier going on this thread because I've only had a select few members calling me names and running everything that's associated with me and my quad in the ground. It's hard not to get upset when you have 15-20 other guys talking shit about you and laying it on just because they want to fit in. I made that Hybrid Frame CAD Rendering a few years ago (2011-2012) and at the time I don't think those YFZR Frame Upgrades were available if they were I wasn't aware of it, and if I had I would have made those changes accordingly on the CAD Rendering.

Too old is a bad excuse.  My dad has been paralyzed for 47 of his 70 years and lets almost nothing stop him from doing what he wants. My grandpa, starting weight lifting with my dad after he was rehabilitated, he lifted every morning at 6:00 am until he was 88, died at 93.

I guess your right in that aspect, Tim Lutz is in his 50's and he's still kicking ass in the Hare Scramble Races on a Banshee. Anybody that's raced ATV Hare Scrambles will tell you it's hell on the quad. It's not IF you'll catch a tree with one of the front tires its when, and the last time I did the handlebars cracked two of my ribs because I wasn't running a steering stabilizer at the time do to fatigue issues I had and the time I thought it was costing me per lap. Come to find out taking it off and running without it for a test/trail run was a bad idea! Lol..

I run the dog shit out of my Banshee when I woods raced it, I'd blow it up or wipe out for a $25 plastic trophy and to prove a point. I still ride the hell out of it and don't show it any mercy but I don't take the chances I used to just to turn a faster lap time in a 2.5hr Hare Scramble that no one will remember anyway. I got tired of taring stuff up and I missed out on 3 months of riding after I cracked my ribs so I decided I'd still build my bike for reliability over everything else but I'd stick to trail riding, hill shooting, drag racing, ect VS the woods racing. I'm the first to admit I'm a little to OCD to run the woods races.

That was the beauty of the Banshee Hybrid Frame I designed. If a rider did want to be competitive on a Banshee in the woods or on a MX race they could be. It would handle and ride as well as any of the new sport quads and if you tore the a-arms off the right side of the quad you could get on eBay and buy a new set (all 4) of stock YFZR take offs for $150 and buy a used right from R shock and swap the spring and guts (valving) out and be back up and racing at a fraction of what your other comparative aftermarket options would cost you to replace.

Hope this hasn't been said already (long ass posts)... Bobby at LSR said they could build a outlaw based frame that could use either yfz or trx parts. I spoke with him about building another outlaw. A couple years ago he said 2500 - 3K for a new outlaw frame might be a bit more now. My frame was built in 99 and is incredible. It is every bit as dialed in as any new 4 stroke frame. Call Bobby@LSR he knows his stuff.

IMO the the Smart Carbs and other Fuel Induction Options are a better a better option than the electronic TBI systems that are available for the Banshee at this time. With a programmable digital ignition system like the Dynatek-FS and a Fuel Induction Setup you get all the benefits of a TBI setup without the tuning headaches, additional weight, and cost. The only real difference between a programmable digital ignition/fuel induction setup and TBI is the the rider makes the adjustments VS the ECM. The performance gains between the two will be very close.

The only way Fuel Injection on the Banshee would only be a better choice as far as cost and performance is concerned is if somebody like CP developed a mono cylinder setup that was casted for a direct injection bolt on fuel injection kit (ECM, Battery, Harness, and Injectors) then you could reap the benefits in performance and cost over the basic fuel induction and digital ignition system. I've run the Dyna-FS Digital Ignition and Thunder Products Intelajet Fuel Induction System on my Banshee for the past 2yrs and IMO it would be hard to beat by any bolt on electric TBI Kit available as of right now for the Banshee.

Fuel injection is solved, whitebread can cover you and has a running bike that is capable of compensating for both alt and temp. Those early Gigot/JSR set ups are pretty crude as today's components weren't quite obtainable when their venture was started.

On the frame, I think you are just gonna have to find a quality fabricator who is. A huge shop with a current work load. Someone who will do it on the side yet still be efficient. It won't be fast or cheap, but here is an example....

Then look for the one Evan did, which is also EFI. SNT did a nice job on a total front end. I helped Domestic Beotch do one that was pretty bare bones... Ours was to show how simple it could be done with minimal resources yet get a good out come.

Another option, buy a VLS frame. They can configure it to what ever body/seat combo you want. Believe it or not, these are the same chassis

Hell, they could leave you the banshee hood and let you run slimmer 450 seat and fenders.

Maybe you could even tab a 450 frame for banshee plastics.

Either way, update us even if there are haters.

Man, I used to years ago on my PC. I've searched dead ends for hours today with not much luck. Lotta foreign language involved so be prepared to find a way to copy and paste everything in to a translater app. I've just been google imaging VLS quad and VLS super quad and following he links to forums and hoping to get responses on current contact.
