Atomic Monkey
So I'm trying to go legal and impulse bought some FMF Turbine Core 2 silencers for my Pro Circuit Platnum pipes.... any reason this won't work out? I realize I'll probably have to do some cutting and welding on the silencer pipes, but other than that will there be a problem?
Surfrjag
Do it
trickedcarbine
That'll work. Legal sucks, but it's better then being kicked out of the trails or dunes.
Atomic Monkey
I agree, I paid about as much as the "standard" fine cost for the silencers. Last year I got busted for going around someone on the road, and got a ticket for "careless operation of an atv"... cost me over $200! Atomic Monkey
Buncha jabroni laws. DON'T DO IT!!! Sounds legit! Lol! That's what I'm gonna say in defense when I'm in court fighting the ticket!
turbowrenchhead
Those muffs are not WI legal. Only the FMF Q series are.

turbowrenchhead
Are you fffing serious!? Yes sir. I did my research when I went to do my exhaust. FMF Q series are the only muffs that meet the DB rating and have a forestry approved spark arrestor.
Atomic Monkey
Well isn't that just dandy... I never really considered db, just the spark arrestor.
turbowrenchhead
Sell the off power cores and get yourself some Q's. Edited July 8, 2014 by turbowrenchhead
Bennett131
Or just get Q stickers lol unless they put a db meter behind your exhaust chances are they will not know the difference.
Bennett131
I'll bet you could get them for free from fmf too...just tell them your pleasure washer took the stickers off your set. Edited July 8, 2014 by Bennett131

Nothing to do with silencers. Just sayin.... The noise will cost you lots more though. Not sure why. The 4 pokes are crazy loud the second the stock shit is off. I just re packed my shearers with the same insulation he uses and my stuff is quieter then a factory stock raptor. Really, the noise laws are rediculous. I hope you get it straightened out and quiet enough to ride all weekend unharrassed. Edited July 9, 2014 by trickedcarbine
