micorps1 Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 Well time to sell the banshee. I spent alot of money building this and am the original owner, quad was bought brand new when i was stationed in Tacoma, WA. I will also give an extra set of hiper carbon fiber beadlocks from my LTR 450. The front wont fit the banshee but the backs will and have only one ride on the ITP GNCC tires already mounted on them. You can sell the fronts on your own then. Looking for $4500 for everything the way the quad sits. I never clipped the light switch either but rather mounted it on the frame behind the radiator and can access easily though the tank plastic. The quad is at my buddies place just outside Atglen, PA and will need to coordinate with him to test ride/view. Pretty sure I have the original paperwork laying around from WA state. My number is 7 zero 3 seven 8 five 4 five 4 nine. If someone wants to pay for a great running banshee great, but do not need to sell, just giving someone the opportunity to save money and use it as I am not. Thank you Tim. 2004 Yamaha Banshee LE (Original Owner) Adjustable Stator Plate, V Force series 2 reeds, UM pro peg nerf bars, Roll Design Anti-Vibe Steering Stem, GPR Steering Dampener, Tag T2 Handlebars, ASR +2 A-arms, Pro-racer tie rods, Extended steel braided brake lines, AC font skid and AC rear skid plate, FMF fatties w/ powercore 2 silencers, E-brake block off kit, Trinity 2-in-1 carburator kit (35mm PWK), AC front bumper, +4 LSR axle, LSR sprocket/brake hub, LSR axle locknut, hide-a-key ignition relocator, K&N air filter w/ pro design adapter plate, Engine ice coolant, Elka front shocks w/o rezzies, All balls axle/bearing kit, Cyrca barkbuster hand guards, Hiper Tech carbon fiber beadlock wheels, ITP GNCC Front and ITP XCR Rear tires, Barnett Clutch kit with Terry Cable easy pull clutch cable, shaved head and trail port and polish, lightweight weiseco pistons, ASV Clutch Lever, Terry Cable dual gasser Thumb/Twist throttle, Regina Sprocket (14/41) and chain kit, Laeger Swing arm w/ MODQUAD axle housing, MODQUAD dip stick, brake res. cover. micorps1 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Report Posted July 6, 2014 sick bike those pics dont do it any justice at all glws Thank you, i forgot to mention the machine work on the head was done by a local guy that builds motors for modified and late model stock cars that run the wissota series. Quad runs strong. Quote
micorps1 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 My bottom is $4000 for this quad, otherwise will be brought back to MN in a year for my dad to race the neighbor kids on 4-strokes. Quote
MarineNYC Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Just a heads up. If the hipers are tech 3s I think that you can hit them up and purchase the inner alum. Hubs to change the bolt pattern. When I parted by banshee I kept the hipers and they sent me honda rings with new seals and I've been using them on my trx now. Glws Quote
micorps1 Posted July 12, 2014 Author Report Posted July 12, 2014 NYCMarine, Thank you for the headsup. if the quad doesn't sell for $4000, I will keep it and upgrade suspension/a-arms and look at swapping the inner alum. A lot of money tied up and was used very little after all the parts and motor work was done. I sold my LT-R and buyer wanted the set of beadlocks for MX and not GNCC, thus why I still have the Hipers from the LT-R. Quote
Lowflyin Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 Who ported and have stock carbs? Still onterested Quote
micorps1 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 Found the original paperwork from the dealership and had an application for a title, but no title in envelope. Will try and request replacement title tomorrow. Quote
micorps1 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 I don't know where the stock carbs went but do not have them. motor work was done by local guy in Hibbing, mn that builds modified and late model motors in stock cars. The quad runs great, you will just need to test ride it to know it runs well for a trail bike. Quote
micorps1 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 I was also just in the garage and forgot that I still have a full set of sand shark paddles on rims for it still from my days of riding at Winchester Bay, OR. Whoever buys it can have those also, so that's three sets of tires and wheels (2 sets are Hipers). Quote
micorps1 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Report Posted July 17, 2014 Title now in hand (had to get new one made), this weekend is not good time to test ride, but next weekend is or anytime there after as my buddy who is storing it is retired and is home during the week. He will have the signed title, bill of sale, and all extra sets of wheels next weekend for any buyers. Quote

bluebanshee98 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 What's the guage on the left side? Quote
micorps1 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Report Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) The gauge is a temp gauge measuring coolant in the return coolant hose back to the radiator. It is hooked into a homemade fitting made from copper plumbing fittings. Edited August 19, 2014 by micorps1 Quote
