Atomic Monkey
Going to be replacing my crank soon, and going to be case matching to my cylinders. What else should I do while the cases are apart?
WINDYCITYJOHN400
Full ProMod tranny with all the shifting mods and fresh shift forks. Pancake bearing Full clutch component inspection (including clutch badket bushings. If you don't have a billet waterpump....I would get a unit from Mull Engineering along with their metal drive gear. ALL NEW SEALS If you are just doing a crank and no port work....try the Vito's Super Stock pistons. They add 7HP and feel like mild porting. (Price is almost tge same as any other piston you woukd normally use.)
Atomic Monkey
Thanks John! I'm looking into the pro modded trans, what's all involved with that? I have the pancake bearing and went through the clutch last summer after a ball weld. I also ordered up a seal set, and will get a billet impeller. I'm also working on porting the cylinders, and have a set of those new Wiseco Ultra Stroker pistons ordered.
sheerider11
Modded trans is every other dog removed and maybe drum work depending on who does it. Worth it. I have it in my bike and my girls bike. Never missed a shift
