B.b.p builders
I just recently got my bike together and running, here in ON Canada there is not much for a drag Racing scene but there is a race coming up in 4 weeks time that I hear is a pretty decent turn out(for around here) this weekend I'm going to test and tune the bike, I'm wondering what a decent time is. They do 400' dirt track. Most of my research I usually see 300' tracks. Not looking for any crazy fast times, just what would be a decent time I should be shooting for? Bike is a 535 cheetah, runs on methanol. Stock frame.
trickedcarbine
Hmm, that's an odd length. It might help to PM Banshee332. Brad runs 500' but I'm sure he can help you with 400' runs
B.b.p builders
Place is called wheels a churning. Brockville ? Is that the place you are thinking of? They have 3 races a year, I missed the first one next one is July 25 weekend then another I. Sept. I just got to get this thing dialled in. Where r u located? R u James? If so we talked on the phone before. I was going to build a cub at that time, but decided to get this 10mil cheetah

J-Madd
From my guestimation add about 0.8 to a 300 ft time and that should be worse case. Thats how long it takes you to go that last 100 ft if you ran about 84 mph at both 300 ft and 400 ft. Which of course you'll accelerate more. B.b.p builders
Ummm really eh? Wow! Not sure if I'm going to make it anyway, having way to many problems with this thing! I really wish I just bought new and started from scratch! Actual long thinking about starting out with some fresh cyl. Rite now!! I guess if I ever do go I will stay in a hotel, not much of a partier anyway, can't remember the last time I drank. Anything else? Hill climbs? camatv
stock frame and a motor size and on methanol leaves a lot to the imagination.. if its on a stock swingarm and hooks up and runs like it should you will have horrible times. bike will pretty much flip over on the line.. you would have to ease into it so much then run like hell last 200ft! better be running big bowls, pingle, drilled cap etc.. or its going to run dry about 298 ft and then lock up last 50 ft. B.b.p builders
Ya I'm pretty sure a 535 cheetah on methanol, with stock frame and stock swingarm would be quite the trip! Lol But it doesn't.
B.b.p builders
Drags, mud bogs, oval track truck pull, snomo drags, rock crawll, truck pulls tractor pulls and the mud pit is about it. dont get me wrong its one hell of a party at night at the racing is decent... but too many idiots for my taste the past little bit. what I ment is I'm wondering if there are any other places that hold events in our are, such as hill climbs? Other places holding drag racing events?
