willaduncan
Do they inspect you atv when you register it or just use the vin for determining what sticker it requires Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sandking
You may have to take it to CHP for inspection at no cost then dmv will issue an off-road sticker. 52$ for 2 years

Pastrykiller
The registration is simple. You're military and will be considered a non resident. You can go to most local at shops here in so Cal and pay $30.00 a year for a non res sticker. It's not a red or green stickers. The color of the sticker determine when and where you can ride during certain times of the year. A military non resident sticker allows you to ride anywhere and anytime regardless. No title, no registration, and no inspection is required. Just go in get the sticker and ride.
