forrest411 Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 Up for sale is a completely rebuilt (top to bottom) 2001 Yamaha Banshee. It was completely taken apart down to the bare frame and everything was completely redone. There are ZERO rides on this Banshee since the rebuild. It was fired up and ran to break in the new motor, that's it. Per Kevin at HJR this set up should be making approx 80-85hp on 93 octane pump gas. The tires have plenty of tread left, there are no cracks in the plastic or rips in the seat. The graphics are in excellent shape and it also has a custom front grille. There will not be any joy rides at all so please don't waste my time or yours. Must have cash in hand! Asking $3,600 OBO. I have over 50 pics on photobucket (I hope the link works). http://s1282.photobucket.com/user/mforrest411/slideshow/Banshee%20Build This is a long post!!!! forrest411 Posted June 19, 2014 Author Report Posted June 19, 2014 Never really used photobucket much. When I clicked on the link it didn't work, so I figured I would try another one. http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a529/mforrest411/Banshee%20Build/20140602_081644_zps58521145.jpg Quote

bluebanshee98 Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Good luck with the sale. No offense bud I know that's what Kevin told you but I highly doubt your making 80-85 hp with your current setup (pipes carbs airbox Ect. ) I think your prob in the 70's Quote
forrest411 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Report Posted June 23, 2014 Thanks, people debate HP all the time. HJR has a great reputation and he knew the exact setup I was running so I trust that it's in that range. Either way, this Banshee has been completely gone through top to bottom not to mention the ported 4mil stroker motor. I just sold a nice 99 Banshee with a stock motor, T6's, and some other bolt ons for $2600 so I don't think I'm over priced. Just need to find the right buyer that wants one completely re-done. If not I'll part it out later and probably get more out of it. Quote

forrest411 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Posted July 2, 2014 I'm just south of Chicago. I took a deposit from a guy in Memphis a few days ago. He is supposedly coming up this Saturday to pick it up. Quote
