1999shee
Hey Guys , new to this site and just looking for some jetting expertise. I have a 1999 banshee stock air box with FMF Powercore II exhaust, K&N filter, no other real mods motor was a fresh rebuild last year. Ive been messing around trying to get it bang on but haven't hit it yet. Its idling very low when warmed up and will die out if I let it sit, just changed to a 270 main, pilot is 25 ( I think too small ?) air screws 2 out clip mid position. it has a bog at low idle 0-1000 rpm ...pilot too small ? any help appreciated, elevation roughly 1000
sheerider11
Turn the screws in see if it helps. If it keeps getting better by the time your all the way in go up a pilot.
1999shee
Ill give that a try , what are u thinking a 27.5 or a 30 ?
sheerider11
Prob 27.5. That's usually the standard when you put pipes on.
sheerider11
Make sure your airfilter is clean, the passages are clean, the carbs are synced, and your floats and bowls and slides are all in check too. No point if something is wrong. So make sure all that is good first.
1999shee
all that stuff is good to go, Ill try a 27.5 pilot with air screws at 1.

Cant find any air leaks , could a slide be in wrong ? float stuck ? the checked the top of the caps too...cables are not stuck , slides are all the way down.. spent two hours trying to figure it out. Any ideas greatly appreciated
