Electrical ? Help

Recommended Posts

My banshee is working quite bad.. Cutting out, and not pulling at all quite weird as my jetting was perfect, I did a leak down and checked over everything fuel / air related and everything seems to be fine. I went down the road a while ago with it and it was still working bad and as I got up in the mid / top end range it was like nothing was wrong it cleaned right up and Pulled like a @$#ker ,it did it once more than right back to working like shit ! I tested my stator right away and it was fine.. If someone could point me in the right direction of where to start that would be great.. Thank you

Hey guys, I followed through with the info yous gave me and i still have no luck.. I'm stumped ! its running richer on one cylinder... i cleaned carbs, jetting is the same in both, checked reeds, did another leak down.. i swapped cdi & coil, also ran a ground from coil to motor i tested stator and it reads correct ohms.. could the stator possibly still be bad ? Whats going on ? Any more info would be greatly appreciated !

Stock OEM or aftermarket stator? Is pick-up gap set and checked atboth nubs on flywheel? Even though it has passedleakdown test, have you inspected carb boots by flexing them to look for cracks? It/they may only leak with vibration.

It's a aftermarket stator, i checked the pick-up gap and its within spec at both nubs, and both boots are fine im running pro design manifolds.. usually i have no problem figuring things out but this one is frustrating must be something im forgetting..
