black sunshine
Recent rebuild, trying to get her going.... fired it up and noticed the choke would race the engine when warm, instead of "choking" it out. Cleaned the carbs, adjusted throttle cable, ect. I figured the cleaning would help, and it did, but still have something jazzed. Stock carbs with TORS removal kit. HELP!!! hoppedupandcutdown
The choke is actually a fuel enricher. If it is taking it and not drowning itself you may have an air leak. Did you do a leak down test on your new build? And are the bowls on the correct sides?
black sunshine
I did do a leakdown after it was assembled; maybe I will have to do another to see if anything has changed since it has run a little.
edgehanger
I bet the bowls are mixed up. The bowl for the "choke Carb" is different from the other. The one for the choke side has a jet in it.
black sunshine
Thank you, Edgehanger, you were correct. I thought I was more careful than that, but whatever; It RUNS!!!
