spark_banshee Posted November 15, 2003 Report Share Posted November 15, 2003 hey guys im new her so HI and im thinking of gettin a banshee with thunder pipes and k&n clamp on air filters i think it gets hot so easy and im used to my blaster so what do i have to do to the banshee not to make it go hot so fast ? 95badbanshee Posted November 16, 2003 Report Share Posted November 16, 2003 I run the cool head with 19cc domes, toomey t5 (soon to be t6) pipes, and a mean port job. I run a 50/50 mix, and water wetter. I live in AZ, and have not had a single problem with overheating. I flush the radiator once a year. Toomeys are the only way to go as far as pipes go. They provide the best power, and they offer a trade in whenever they come out with new pipes. The cool head, is another great bolt on performance and cooling part.
