Strm Trpr
Vets, correct me if I'm wrong, does the wiseco 795 wiseco piston raise the wrist pin 5mm so one can run 115mm long rods? So, this spacer plate between the deck and head is probably a 2mm thick head gasket to allow for the additional +/-2mm of stroke? Then shouldn't the head be decked and rechambered to have an efficient combustion chamber shape? OP, you need more compression. What's your timing plate set at? Adding timing might help with your inefficient combustion chambers. So, your needle is raised fully, so your clip is in the 5th groove down from the blunt end of the needle? Have you done a proper plug chop to verify that you really need all this fuel you're throwing at it? What needles are you running in your 28mm PWK's? trickedcarbine
I've got a passion set up, and none of your issues. Get a head for the domes him cut you. The spacer to shim up the head is garbage. Also, check that the electrical is good, then get it dialed in on he jetting. Also, a little timing could help you out as well. Not being a dick, but really that set up sounds like a sloppily thrown together pile of accumulated parts. Jim's 12 port stock cyl motors can really fucking fly, but it's up to you to put the right set up together.
4mil89
Ok I agree I was kinda on a budget I bought the bike found out it had a 4m or crank so I grabbed a pair of cylinders that were at least ported correctly. I understand a head should be my next choice. Camatv I had to raise the needle all the way up to attempt to get rid of the stutter which its still there but much less apparent. Obviously since jim is MIA who's a good builder to call to help me get this motor properly set up.
