Installing bushing on lowering link

Recommended Posts

Having trouble installing the bushings on a lowering bar. They are SO tight! something doesn't feel right. Ive tried pressing one in with the vice but could only push it in a few mm. Surely they cant be this tight a fit? Kinda make the grease nipple redundant. Can anyone shed some light?

Grind down the chrome on the inside of the link, tape the outside so you don't mess up  the chrome that will show. Done.

There are so many junk lowering links out there. Yours being one of them. I bet that bushing would go in before they chromed it..... Also, it's kinda bogus to add zerks, but put a bushing in that has no way to let the grease all the way through to the bolt. Just bass akward! Like savage said, get the chrome out of there. Grind it, ream it, drill it, whatever. It's probably better to just send them their shit back and buy a nice one that has nice brass bushings already installed.

Or buy a factory Warrior link and lower the bike discreetly.

It has bushings that fit and zerks.

Ok so I guess its just poorly made. I thought it would be ok as they have sold over 200 on ebay. 100%

Ha Ha Yah Right! Ever heard of Trinity Racing?

McDonald's sells alot of burgers every day......doesn't mean you'll never get food poisoning. Billions sold....but are they really that good tasting?
