ksw390
Just got this banshee runs great until you run wot. Pulls really hard through all gears until high rpm in 6th it seems like the right cylinder quits then it hits for a bit and pulls hard then quits again. Almost like a rev limiter lol it sounds like the right cylinder quits firing to me or stops getting gas I'm not sure. Any ideas where I should start. A little info tors delete pro circuit pipe jetted boost bottle starts on first kick runs great until 6th top end Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Larry's Shee
Dump the boost bottle. Inspect intake boots to make sure it hasn't cracked them. List your mods and current jetting, temps, elevation. Have you done plug cop? Leakdown? How do plugs look? Clean carbs, set floats. Clean petcock and gas cap vent. ksw390
Ok it's not the spark plugs put two new plugs in today and tested it out again for sure the right cylinder is not firing at high rpm. intermittently fires occasionally. but what do you think this is cdi box or coil or no fuel Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

ksw390
Any riding hrs of riding or just a quick race down the road. I road for 3 hrs the other night it would run great as long as I dint go wot. Changed the plugs today just to try it. payvement road by my house 1st through 4th pulling hard 5th started to die off at wot then shift to 6th pull hard for a sec then sounds like right side just stops firing. Never seen this before is why I ask on here. I didn't post to get a bunch of crap from people thinking some stupid kid that don't know nothing. My only option as of now is to just start pulling parts off a good bike and trying one by one. Where should I start coil, cdi anything else that could be failing anyone ever seen anything like this Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

WINDYCITYJOHN400
Nobody gave you crap. I looked at your join date. Your not a noob. But you have been here long enough to know that if you had the carbs apart to clean them and check your float settings....you could have at least checked to see the jet/needle/airscrew settings AND POST THAT INFO. If it's ignition you should know the routine.... Plug caps, wires, stator, flywheel magnets, CDI.. Wait!....Is this a Trinity motor? camatv
ohms test the plug boots. if your running a resistor plug put in non resistor. also unscrew boots and see if the ends are rusted at the connections. if they are replace both boots, cut back just a tad of wire reinstall. gap plugs to 20 tho. make sure stator pickup is around 20 tho gap also. if thats ok. remove petcock and clean the in tank filters. check petcock, float level, and vent tubes on carbs are not plugged and not straight cut and hanging below the bike. remove mains and dump tubes completely, make sure all the holes in the dumps are clean and the air holes in the fronts of the carb inlets are clean and clear. if this is all ok. try upping the main jet one size. if it gets worse. try one size smaller. 2 strokes dont like to run out for a mile or so at WFO you will need some special setups to run for a long period of time at wide fuckin open
