Tyler James Inc
Where do they hassle people the most for sound? I don't wanna buy CSFX silencers if I don't need em, but I don't wanna have to sit at camp and not ride cause I didn't buy em. Sand Lake? Florence? Winchester? Sent from a porta potty. do-work-son
Never had a problem at Winchester. Sand lakes tested a lot. To be honest I don't think my cfsx silencer are much quiter than well packed stock CPI silencers
SandSlingerOR
Go cascade & they will look the other way
Tyler James Inc
I guess it's good insurance if nothin else. Is a warning pretty standard? I would rather just keep the FX at the rig, and throw em on if I get hassled. Sent from a porta potty.
n2otoofast4u
Cascades are listed as an approved silencer in the USFS hand book. Buy those and be done. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
BUILDER
I have ridden Florence and Coos Bay for years with no issues what so ever. I have been checked enough at Sand Lake they have ask me not to come back unless I change my exhaust
dcalsv02
The cascade silencers are the best looking silencers (with end caps) are the best looking silencers out IMO and like previously stated, are usfs approved. Just get them be done. dodging the noise police gets old after a while.
dave5.0
How did the cascade silencers make it in the usfs "book" without sparkies?
SandSlingerOR
Lol they are not usfs approved.

dcalsv02
I got my silencers from cascade in bare metal for a little cheaper. Might ask them about that option.
rjayb
Used the tether kill, "mystery motor failure" trick at Sandlake a few times in years past. Word is they've caught on to that and wrote a friend of a friend a ticket for something like interfering with a police investigation or obstruction of justice for trying it. FTW.
