Wertzy
Slowly turning into a woods terror. Just got an extended rear axle for her. Next is upgrading the brakes to YFZ450 dual pucks I believe. Little things here and there too. Can't seem to find a front bumper that I like though. Also having a-arm skid plates made for my Alba Gullwing arms. Edited May 19, 2014 by Wertzy
Uf21
Why upgrade the brakes? On dirt they lock up and start sliding anyways.
Wertzy
Mine have always just been very mushy. Plan on getting SS Braided lines to help with that too.
250rbanshee
Good lookin trail bike. Can't go wrong with yfz calipers and ss lines. Only bumper I found that I like is the Alba bumper. How do you like those Fox shocks? I got Elka's on my Alba lt a arms and they work great.
sheerider11
Why upgrade the brakes? On dirt they lock up and start sliding anyways. That's exactly why.
Uf21
That's exactly why. But unless the other brakes have some sort of abs system they're also going to lock up and slide, right?
Wertzy
Looking good. You need some protection for the sprocket and rotor. I'd recommend JDS guards. They have way less drag in ruts than the typical style swingarm skids. I actually have a skid plate...its just not installed in the picture. In the future I plan on getting a roundhouse swingarm and those guards from him. For now I'm stuck with my factory swingarm.
camatv
see you can haul a bike AND all your shit ! i like that.. the best thing you can achieve on brakes is one finger control.. get that and your set!
trickedcarbine
X 10 on the 450 calipers. Do the master to. Lots more progression. I would suggest a -2 swinger as well for the woods. Lock up and lighter clutch springs, ASV Levers, get the pegs where your body wants them, shift mods, handle bars and maybe a riser/stem, brake and shift levers modified. All that type of stuff adds up for a much more ridable bike.
