locogato11283
Those carbs are worthless. There are a couple people here that will tell you they're great but won't be able to provide you with any useful info. Your best bet is to get rid of them and buy a set of regular PWK. hercalmighty
Airstrikers like much leaner jetting then regular PWKs. First, find what pilot you are running. If the air screw isn't doing anything then you are running the wrong pilot. Second, that main is way too big. You should be more like 158 to 165. You need to do a plug chop to confirm though
Tedder
I agree with hercalmighty. We ran 1/4 mile asphalt with 35mm Airstrikers on a 358 gas cub @ 1200ft. With heavily oxygenated VP CMP we were at 162 or 165 mains and 42 or 45 pilots. Stock needle As hercalmighty said, The airscrew adjustment will tell you if the pilot is in the ballpark. Hope this helps...
hercalmighty
Airstrikers are great carbs once tuned right.
RadarRacing
With it too rich it will bog off the line and then clear up. Try mainjets in the low 160s and make sure they have c,d, or e series needles and try again. Those that cant tune em hate em. Same with lectrons , they must ALL be junk because they couldnt figure em out or they didnt work on one specific motor or combo.

NOTHING specific about where you need to be. Buy a million jets and a million needles!! Fucking stupid. Ditch them and buy regular 35mm PWK and someone can get you nearly spot on with jetting on the first try.
Surfrjag
i guess I cant tune because I have tried using the airstrikers and took forever to get close to right and was never right on. put on some pwk's on and got it running perfect on the first try. my advice.. get rid of them and get pwk's
sprinklerman
Same here. Maybe I'm just stupid. I had at LEAST 8 sets of needles and pilots from 40 something to 55...still couldn't get it perfect. It ended up being the slide cutaway that was the issue. After machining the cutaway to regular PWK specs, all was well. When I went to 39pwks I had it dead on in 2 jet changes.
