swhitey917
I have set of triple rate PEP front shocks on my quad (LTD mass I believe). Not to familiar with working on shocks and I have a muddy race coming up and would like to set my ride height (Preload) a little higher. How do you make this adjustment on these shocks? Thanks. Only info I can find when searching is referring to the ZPS shock.
swhitey917
The limmtted mass shocks have preload adjustment just like other high quality aftermarket shocks. There should be a collar with a c-clip inside it holding pressure on the top of the upper spring. You will lift your front end off the ground and push down on that collar to compress the spring which will expose the c-clip. Its much easier with 2 ppl. Got ya, I see it now. Now the issue is I cant compress the spring to expose the c-clip to make the adjustment
chevota84
Should be able to get the bottom retainer off unless someone has the pre load way tight. I've found that's easier than trying to hold the spring and move the c clip. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
