james berry
Got some cylinders pulled off of my banshee upon inspection 64.46 pistons were installed. Looking at the cylinders tho you can see the sleeve in one and in the other you can not see a sleeve. Any insight to if this is ok let me know cause I have never seen this before.my pics are to big to attach.

Larry's Shee
I must be a blind old fuck, as I can't see what the fuck you're talking about. Both have sleeves. That's the iron part that sets below and sticks into the top case half.
Pasi S.
I was wondering the same thing earlyer today, but didn´t want to be the first one to ask: "What was the question?"
Bennett131
I see what you mean and that looks odd to me
james berry
One cylinder has a thin sleeve top pic and the other does not bottom pic. Is this ok? Look at the pictures at the bottom of the cylinder and it is clear what I am talking about. One clearly has a smooth transition and the other has a sleeve. And these were 64.46 mm can I have them bored out safely? I dont want to waste time or money.

trickedcarbine
Could be a slipped liner. At the top where the head mounts, can you snag an edge if you run your finger nail or pick tool accross it?
Starwriter
I have a pair of cylinders that look exactly like the 2nd pic. Someone told me it was a 1/2 sleeve. I don't know if they new what they were talking about. Apparently they only bore away 1/2 of the thickness of the original sleeve and press in a thin sleeve. I've never bothered with having cylinders sleeved, but that seems kinda 1/2 assed to me. Edited May 14, 2014 by Starwriter

This was just on one cylinder the other is in perfect condition. the one that has the 1/2 sleeve is the one that messed up.
