flyfistol532000
I'm going Cheetah Cub cylinders n my banshee. The place I call who sold the complete kit. I already have a short rod 4mil crank & someone at that place told me they don't make Cheetah Cubs for short rod cranks. Is it only this company that doesn't sell them or do I have to have a long rod crank?

flyfistol532000
Ok since I already have the 4mil crank in my bike I wanna just get the cub kit minus the crank. Will there be a BIG difference n performance if I stay with the short rod crank instead of getting the long rod crank or will there be a noticeable difference n speed? trickedcarbine
Not really a noticeable difference. The short rod may rev a cunt hair faster and higher. The long rod is more of a reliability deal.

flyfistol532000
Thanks for all your help. I just have a couple more questions for you'll. I talked with John over at SandToyz & he told me that he had the Cubs & pistons4the short rod crank. Would I have to have my cylinders ported or can my mechanic just slap them on & it'll be ready to ride? When I was goin to get this setup b4 someone told me when I buy them I had to port them b4 I could put them on. My mechanic mentioned a dune port to me. I mainly ride my bike on the street & do some street racing (not planning on goin to the track) but I do wanna go faster.
Nightmare
You can run them as cast but get them ported if you want more speed. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
possum
No dont have your "mechanic" dune port the cub. just run it as cast. get the right parts, gasket, domes, etc. and bolt it up

Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk Or you can have Passion port them and they will go slower.
