turbowrenchhead
I found out the hard way how expensive it is to restore and modify a beat bike. I thought I got a great deal for $900 running banshee, ha ha ha
turbowrenchhead
I wrote back to Brandon that I was sorry for his loss and that no one should out live their parents. He responded and apologized for "being a jerk". He said that he would ship me a spring or any other parts that may be in stock that I need.

It's gotta be tough for him. But business is business and if he wants to continue doing it he needs to take his grievance time like anyone else and then get back to it. turbowrenchhead
Got my shock back today from Richard. I like the way the bike sits now. I have to wait for this weekend to get some trail riding in to see how it performs
turbowrenchhead
I don't have it.
turbowrenchhead
It was the original 87 shock that was rebuilt by gt thunder. They set it up with no preload on the spring. The one from richard has about 1/3 of the threads taken up for preload with a lighter spring
turbowrenchhead
Update: The stance of the bike is way better then the GT Thunder built one. I got to hit a few jumps on our spring ride in Big Bay MI. It never bottomed out and landed nice. I'm very happy with Richard at House of Horsepower. sprinklerman
You shouldn't be having these problems at 200 lbs on a stock swinger. Sent from a van down by the river Called it in my 1st post.Where's my cookie? Sent from a van down by the river
sprinklerman
I'm 200 lbs and I can't bottom out a stock shock on a stock swingarm on anything short of an MX track. Trails and woods....I can't see it. Something sounds wrong . Sent from a van down by the river and my 2nd post. I want 2 cookies. WINDYCITYJOHN400
I've had 2 shocks that House of Horsepower did. (The bike I had on the Badlands trip has one) +6 arm and I rip the sand whoops everywhere I go. Can't say I would need anything better. (NOTE: I have a full set of ELKA's on one of my bikes and my House or Horsepower modded stocker is comparable.) I was in earlier with the winning input. I'll take ALL the cookies and a tall cool glass of milk. But I'll share.....
