Clean the carbs.

Remove jets and clean with brake cleaner.

Check float levels

Inspect choke tube.

If that get's done and you still have issues....delete TORS and do a leak check.

I drained the gas before i stated on it n put fresh in it the tors is deleted and i cleaned the carbs its got rad valves in it i had a cracked reed so put new ones in it but i think they give me just regular pro series reeds they looked different and had 260 jets in it i went down to a 240 jet and like i said the spark plugs look good it has paul turner high rev pipes, its ported, k&n air filter with open box

I hav not checked the choke tube but i will because im gonna replace it with a choke tube off of an old carb because the choke tube on it now u have to hold it out thank you all.

I thought he meant the choke connector between the 2 carbs, not the actual choke plunger.

If the choke plunger is not staying pulled out, the spring is pulling it shut again because the small clip that fits into the grooves on the shaft is no longer fitting the grooves and failing to act as a detent to hold the choke open against the spring pressure.

The link isn't working right, it should jump immediately to the 2:48 mark in the video so start the video then jump to 2:48 to see the choke spring and detent explanation....

depending on the pipe, elevation, and temp combo.....you'd be looking more like a 280-290s area.  If it really is ported.....well then you're gonna need more on top of that.  Not to mention that when running aftermarket pipes, most require a 27.5 pilot jet to keep it running correctly on the low end of the rev range.

hell Im running a dune/play port from jeff at FAST with fmf fatties, pod filters, and 20cc domes and im running, 27.5 pilots and 340 main jets.
