evil
i took on a project for a friend to build a sand dragger and was impressed with kk's results on the t rex set up, but before i was going to go with the cheeta 535 on juice, whitch is better and why ?? NYUK
depends on your needs, t rex has sleeves, cheeta has nikasil, think of a meltdown or piston breakage, which would be faster to get ,re nikasilled or resleeved,i just had my cheetas redone. 2 weeks turned into 2 months. raxen
The cheetah cylinders make a little more power but that is no indicator of reliability, one grain of sand that makes it in is all it takes to hurt that nikasil pretty bad. Go with T-Rex, problems take it off, take to a machinist, and get it back in one day.
Meat_Head
I own both set ups and powerwise ultimately its pretty much the same, its like NYUK said do you want your cylinders to be Nikasil plated or run regular sleeves? BaddestBanshee
Nikasil can take a lot more abuse than a standard cylinder. The downfall is getting it remachined and recoated. Usually in the snowmobiles we end up just buying new cylinders.
raxen
Well post some pics when you get the thing built. The thing will be a freakin beast either way. Go with the Cheetah since they make a 2-3 HP on the dyno from the low friction liner, toss in some nitrous, and you got fun on wheels.
