Lowflyin Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 Mentions an overbore as a power upgrade but knows it all... Quote
sheerider11 Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 I was talking to skeeter, why are joining in?Because he is another valuable resource on this site. An he's telling you how it is. I wanted to stay far away from this, but like john said " the hole you in is deep enough" I have a lot of peoples phone numbers that I can call at anytime and shoot the shit and share info back and forth. 99% of the time I'm asking the questions. With the way you come in tryin. To be badass leaves a sour taste in people's mouth. So hop off your high horse and realize your a lot closer to the ground then you think. Yes, some great members have come and gone. But it's is people like you that drive them away. Know it alls that wear there ass as a hat. Quote
Strm Trpr Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 He said wears ass as a hat... That's great! Quote
possum Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 what I wanted to know was some combinations that had been stumbled upon that worked great, like a stock crank .40 over bore with full porting and milled head, stock carbs with tweaked bowls 340 mains 25 pilots needle at 2nd notch, box lid off +4 timing and vf3's with a mod plate puting serious numbers down. Oh ya, that setup will put serious numbers down! You have a basic port with a milled head and basic add ons. Whats the big deal again? Quote
clrkaw26 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Report Posted May 4, 2014 Let me guess, everyone here started at the top? If I leave a sour taste in your mouth, good, because if I did its because you deserved it, you want to be a dick I will be a dick right back, I don't back down but will show appreciation to those that deserve it, what's funny is all you douche bags on my thread trying to talk shit is on my fucking thread, I'm not on yours nor getting my buddies on yours, get a life, without your constant pokes this would be different, lets see how this goes, unless this is about what the thread is titled then don't post, its my thread not yours, if this shit goes any further than this then it will be obvious the ones keeping it going. sstaton1983 Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 Drum roll ................................. You got 52 hp. TA DA....you may want a longer swinger. Quote
98bansheetwin Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 I'm new here, but the last thing I'm goning to do is piss off the guys on here who truely do know it all. I've helped my dad for years with his 98 so I know my way around it fairly well. These guys know banshees like the back of their hand. No matter what they tell you, its best to just listen. If you want to go faster, your going to need more power and torque. If your jugs aren't ported by a good builder, you might want to just get new cylinders. And have them done correctly for your riding style. Your milled head helps out with some compression, but there's a few company's that offer custom cut domes specifically for your bike, your needs, your riding style. Open up the air some. Get some pods, or a pro flow filter. The more air you can flow, the better. Stock carbs work fine for mild bikes like you want. But I'm a big fan of 28PWKs. They are easy to adjust and they fit right in your stock intake boots. A adjustable timing plate, better clutch, cpi exhaust, better reeds, I run vforce 2s, modify your shift star for better shifting, tune it spot on and it'll be all you need until you go to a cub or serval. clrkaw26 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Report Posted May 4, 2014 I'm good with 52 hp on my daily rider for a first trial run, its not a sand drag, but I am picking up a new block tonight to build from the crank up. The purpose of this bike is to get my family more involved, I am a 4 day a week rider and my wife is fed up with it so I bought her a raptor 350 last weekend and 2 predator 90's for my kids and a banshee is about the only atv I respect, can't hate me for that, but that's the reason I'm a little spent on play money right now, I spent 7 grand just getting everyones toys in a two day period and now I have dumped 600 in my cylinders and head, 200 in nerf bars, and about 500 between new top end, reeds, timing plate and airpods. Its an addicting bike. Quote

clrkaw26 Posted May 5, 2014 Author Report Posted May 5, 2014 Not bragging by any means, just the reason I can't just go all out right away, especially by a guy saying I wasted my money on a banshee in a banshee forum just tells me your trying to start fights, its cool though. Keep it coming guys. Quote
