draggins10
I've been trying for 3 hours with a pipe wrench, leverage bar and pb blaster. And it still won't budge. Are there any tricks?

Starwriter
If you have an air chisel, you can spin it off pretty easy. Of coarse, make sure you're turning it in the correct direction. Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

Frankthetank
I have an 87 banshee that never had the rear axle out and it took myself and another guy with a torch on a huge bench vise to get the two nuts off. Then it took me a large press to press out the dust seal and bearings. It was not fun. My advice would be to remove the rear axle and carrier as one and take it to a machine shop where they have the large tools and torches to remove it. Myself and another guy tried at my house with big tools at first. We were never going to get it loose. I thought about just buying a different axle. Good luck!
