TroyBrock
Anyone ever heard of Duncan racing? I just bought a motor and the clutch cover has their name on it. Took it off and underneath is a Hinsen billet basket and pressure plate. Just trying to get some info on what I might have.
Surfrjag
just because its there cover doesnt mean they built the motor. best thing to do is check everything over yourself to see what exactly you have...

TroyBrock
Well I think it was gone through by them or someone else. Transmission feels like neutral is all the way down, and I only count 4 shifts up with it. What should I post pictures of?
Surfrjag
sounds like you have an overide. neutral down 2-
TroyBrock
That's what I'm thinking but wasn't sure. I'll be splitting the cases soon.
Starwriter
Are there any pegs cut off the shift star?
TroyBrock
Umm I'm not sure yet. I can't get the basket off cause I don't have the tools to do it right now.
RagunCajun
I forgot what socket that big nut takes, maybe a 22mm or 1.125". That and a impact gun works. No holder needed.
TroyBrock
I don't have an impact, I'm going to my buddy's house tomorrow. Full snap on garage to use. The fibers were pretty bad though.
shanYE west
if the motor was ported by them, you'll have a serial number on the under side of the intakes.. they keep record of every motor they port. if that number is there.. they can tell you all the specs based off that number. Many moons ago I was on their support team.

TroyBrock
Found this beauty under the clutch cover though, it appears to be a Hinsen basket and billet pressure plate.
