locogato11283
Get rid of those carbs and get regular PWK.. That's your problem.
Buffalo-Banshee
I like to try to make these carbs work before i go that route... sombody has to have some tuning experience with airstrikers
hp2000
Sounds lean to me even on air strikers. Cubs and servals we have ran in my group usually end up with 50-55 pilots and around the 162 main. Buffalo-Banshee
well I read on here the air strikers require leaner jets with some people going as low as 35/145 and they run great. HP2000 are you running at sea level?
hp2000
Yes mostly only ride glamis. Better be rich on jetting when starting on a new motor than blown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

bluebanshee98
The air strikers do favor a small pilot jet. My buddy's 421 cub does the same thing. Breaks up a little bit before the band but not too bad. Keep us updated on what happens. You may need a different needle but I'm not 100% sure on that. Buffalo-Banshee
Well I went for a rip today and its a bit lean at 40/150s cel needle middle clip I may try to start fat at 55/160 Shee ripped 2-3 gear but then fell on her face

locogato11283
Sell carbs. Buy regular PWK. You're going to fight those things forever.
Buffalo-Banshee
Well maybe if a set of 35 pwks comes up for a good deal I'll try them I don't get why the air strikers are hard to tune...
Buffalo-Banshee
Well I tried again running 48 158 this time 2 turns on the screw cel still middle clip and still no luck so I think I'm giving up and going the regular pwk route so if anyone is looking for carbs pm me
