BigAustinO
maybe thinking of trying to sell this frame on ebay, just wondering in the ball park how much shipping would be, and if UPS will shit it, cuz i see a lot of guys ship these via greyhound bus. thanks
erbilabuc
I shipped my frame through UPS but there is a big hassle. You are going to get charged for being oversized but it should be around 70$ total from coast to coast. Mine was 52$ from Orlando to Michigan
BigAustinO
how did you ship it, in a box? if not, what other ways could i package it?
erbilabuc
how did you ship it, in a box? if not, what other ways could i package it? theres two ways to ship a frame #1 is wrap the hell out of it with saran wrap and bubble wrap and #2 is take two garbage bags, cardboard and strong shipping tape. Wrap all sharp corners with carboard then tape the cardboard on so it wont move. Once all sharp corners have cardboard on them then you take one bag on each end and slide it over the frame. Tape over the bags where they over lap and then run the tape everywhere there is a sharp corner so it wont rip the garbage bags. I know it sounds retarded but this was the way the UPS counter lady told me to do it. If you put a Banshee frame in a Box it will be too big to ship. I have used #1 to ship aluminum frames and #2 to ship steel frames and never have had a problem.
