Keith Carper
What jets should I use?... modification are, Toomey t5s, boost bottle, boysen reeds in stock cages, k&n air filter in stock air box, and TORS elimination kit.... I'm currently using 27.5 pilots and 310 mains, it runs good but sputters at 2/3 throttle in 4th and 5th Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Frankthetank
I'm not the best at jetting but I had a setup very close to yours and I was able to make my banshee pretty quick. I had the stock size pilot jet, stock air screw setting, (I believe 1 3/4 turn out) and a 300 main, but I was running k/n pod filters and no boost bottle. I know to that elevation also plays a part in jetting and also the temp that your running it at. read up on the boost bottles. I thought that I read that there isn't any benefit from it. oldskool
its prolly little fat on the main if you are running airbox lid. Drop one size at a time and test. should be around 270/
Larry's Shee
1. Ditch the bottle. 2. Do you know how to "read" plugs or plug chop? 3. What needle clip you at? 4. Lid on? Snorkel? Being on the slightly rich side allows allows a safety factor. Should end up at 290/300. No one can tell exactly what you need. If this 'shee is new to you a comp test and leakdown test wouldn't hurt either.
Keith Carper
I have a set of 300 mains. Ill try those. Needle is on the middle clip, I'm using the stock air box and snorkel, it's wet where I ride.... ditch the bottle?? Are they no good? Zillaguy
Loose the boost bottle... Here in lower mi you should be around a 290main 27.5 pilot air screw at 1.5 turns needle on the middle clip

sleeper06
Port timings to help, pilot should be around 45 , main start with 172 , cel 4th clip, .most important thing is a pressure test on that motor so u dont melt it down.there are people on this site that sell them or u can make ur own. Then u need to be sure you have solid grounds on your electrical system and yout plug caps ohm out correctly. More times than not people bring t here bike to tune and its not a jet problem at all its either an air leak or electrical so b4 you chase your tail jetting get that out of the way
