Andreb84
decided to go with redline racing for my 421 serval build.im going to send my cases in to get it port matched and i was thinking since its there should i go ahead and have them do the pro-mod transmission service bottom line i would like to know from someone with experience if its actually worth an extra $
sheerider11
Yes. Not even a question. It should be done to every banshee from piped to fully built. They all need attention in the trans. A pro mid is perfect for any weekend warrior. If your not dragging it the best upgrade you can do. I beat the hell out of mine. Hasn't missed a beat. Wot shifts, back loads, slamming on the shifter through the whoops, everything. Do it, then you'll wonder why you never did.

Not saying you can't trail one. But for an average rider a pro mod will be more then enough. I can shift with just a little let off of the throttle easily. sheerider11
All new shit. Like a pressure plate, hub, clutch, clutch cable, billet basket, shift shaft modded, shift pro kit, and eccentric screw. Tell cam to put the heavy duty bushings and heavy duty backing plate on the basket as well. All of that will have you sorted out for quite some time. Zillaguy
Make sure his pro-mod has the shift drum modded with a bearing.. also have the cases modded so the shift shaft is on bearings too... My pro-mod is one of the best mods i've done to my bike... I can shift at WOT without letting off the throttle, and no missed shifts.. With this trans it takes zero effort to upshift, just a blip of the clutch, and it shifts like butter.

That sounds like it would tear your tranny to shreds after a while...didn't know that you could do that all I knew was that it would make your gears easier to find Great forum you learn something new everyday
