BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Do I have to buy a new one or can I repair mine? Sent from my N8000_WHTE_CKT using Tapatalk
SAVAGE420
Mine didn't leak fuel outside of the valve, but when i shut it off, one side would still flow some fuel. Contacted Pingel and they fixed it up for me. Where is yours leaking?
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
From were it screws into the tank Sent from my N8000_WHTE_CKT using Tapatalk
SAVAGE420
If your seal is torn or old cracked and brittle just replace that or try to seal it up better. I put some silicone stuff on mine that let it seal up better at the tank as well, it's safe with fuels. I'll see if i can remember the name of the sealant. But anything safe for fuel will be sufficient.
bluebanshee98
Try using a rubber gasket not the paper thin one. I didn't use anything to seal on mine with the rubber gasket and it hasn't leaked yet. With the original paper gasket it started leaking after some time of racegas eating through it
m671054
Paper gasket? these come with a large rubber one normally. ddid you seal the threads from the valve to mounting plate?
SAVAGE420
Mine came with a thick rubber gasket as well. Over time I think they just break down. I run avgas and it's a pretty dry fuel, so it might break it down I wee bit faster. Anyways just try a light coat of some silicone on both sides that can be used with petroleum. Sent from my shed.
