. Posted November 21, 2003 Report Share Posted November 21, 2003 I run the BR8EG as well. I forget what the firing tip is though too. I know its a better conductor. Main reason I run it is that it has a solid connection tip, not a screw on one. I can get the br8es sometimes with a solid connection tip as well but not as often. I was riding once about 10 miles from camp and the one side started cutting in and out on me. Pulled the plug cap off and the connection tip of the plug was still in the cap. I've had them come loose before, but this one actually stripped the threads from the vibration. Luckily I could screw it on upside down and get back to camp.
