I don't really see myself as a click above the rest of the members for the fact that I don't know half the stuff that's talked about on here, lol, hell you guys have taught me more about an engine than my dad ever dreamed of since I was born. The whole thing with Chase was just an example to prove in a heated situation... i'm cool, not egotistical and on a power binge. I'm all for a vote for mods... but Lee did say anyone who would like to be a mod could email him and let him know what sections and he would choose. It was pretty much a self nomination type deal. Like I said though... the vote may be a good idea... I'm for it. Who gives a damn if I'm a mod or not... I don't... It was just a way for me to help out, but if my attempts to help out pissed anyone off... then i guess I can still piss people off without being a mod. Ever go into a gas station, (or wherever it is that your state law provides for you to purchase alcohol) and throw a case of your favorite beer up on the counter, and the guy behind it knows you, and he asks you for ID. Well, you forgot it at home, and the dude REFUSES to sell you licquor. Bastards. My fault for not carrying identification with me at all times. Anyways, I am wondering why this thread was moved to the roostin room, but oh well. No biggie. And I see your point in the "joint" post Deuce. But i think that if he was your buddy, (the DEA guy) he wouldn't say shit. I used to ride/race street bikes with alot of cops. They were the worst law breakers of them all. It can go both ways. And about the brass and the enlistees, I am just an enlistee. If being a mod sacrifices the way I am viewed on here, than dammit, I don't want the "brass". I don't want the friggin' "title". I don't need it. I would rather be able to "hang out" with my HQ brethren. When we finally do get that HQ get together at the strippin's down my Meat's place, I don't want ot be the DEA guy. I want to ride, and party later on with some of that dammm Yuengling that I can't find any where in this POS state of NY. Except at the state fair, but that's once a year. Anyways, point here is, is that if feelings have changed, than I don't want no part of it. I am still same ol' boon with or without this damned "title". I am still same ol' boon with or without this damned "title". thats a great point Boon, honestly i didnt know you were a mod till i looked at the list, the only one of the 10 of you, was Screamin and again im not busting his balls he's a great guy and ive allways enjoyed reading his post's, but the DEA guy cant come over and pinn his badge to his chest protector and not expect all his pals to gain a little distance, i was hoping that no one would even know who the mods were as to not effect the tone of the HQ, i think in your case maintaining your status as a buddy to all on the Q, is more important to you than pronounceing your mod position, therefore your duties will be performed in the background as i think they should be, but i aslo think like i said before that Lee's done such a great job with the HQ and all the members have contributed to the feel of the site, if the campus cop stands at the gate with a badge and gun all us students will be on our best behavior, if he mingles in with the crowd none of us will even know he's there.........lets just all hang on the Q as we allways have sharing a laugh and exchanging our opinions........Screamin, PM this dickeymetal or dunedunce who ever he is, tell him if you see that goddamm link again he's a ghost, posting it in an open forum just fuels this morons fire........
