Andreb84
tearing down my banshee and starting over fresh.i want a bike that performs well overall meaning that i want something that is trail friendly but is still capable of handing out ass whoopings on the drag strip.i understand that the cub is better suited for the track and the serval is a better trail bike.my question is which set up is better suited for trail/track as im going to be doing both types of riding almost 50/50. little concerned about getting low end power out of the cub and top end pull from the serval advice on a good set up would be much appreciated. Andreb84
Ported serval. what are your reasons for picking the serval and would that be a drag port or a dune port
Finch
ported serval do a cub if ya only plan on racing. serval will give ya low end grunt ported will give ya some up top too.
do-work-son
How aggressive do you trail ride ? X3 on a ported serval come onto power a lot sooner than a cub and still have mid 80s hp

bluebanshee98
Call redline. You can get a 4 mil serval on pump gas with extensive port work that will make 89hp/48tq
RagunCajun
if i port my serval will i lose bottom end power? So far redline is the only one who can port a serval without losing power down low that's ive seen dyno charts on here. I rode one 4mil cub on race fuel in trails. Never again. That motor was terrible in trails. Although in the drag race it was beast mode.

Pasi S.
Andrep, go to a dyno-section and find out. I think the Serval can be ported for more low to mid, or more from down to top. They can be ported to a CUB timings or even to a "Drag ported" CUB numbers/angles/shapes. I'm not a pro, but I think the biggest power will be found from a seriously ported "Serval". Time will tell. Andreb84
Redline is porting the servals to make them run out the top end as well for keeping the bottom end power. I think that's the trick, and he's doing very well with them it seems. Letalone his as cast cubs making high 90s HP on gas
