Pistol as in AR pistol or glock etc? If AR pistols are legal in NY I agree. Get a pistol and a sig "arm brace" and have a legal SBR. Quote
MarineNYC Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Posted April 11, 2014 Pistols are even harder to get. Next to impossible. Especially in the five boroughs . It's way way easier for me to get a rifle. For target or hunting purposes. That's y I was excited about this because I thought they made this to be more like a rifle. This city is fucked up Quote
MarineNYC Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Posted April 11, 2014 My father died . He was a NYC homicide detective for 25 years. He had 3 pistols and I had to turn them over to a out of state family member that had a dealer lisc. Quote
fappy'97 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 I bet he had some interesting stories to tell, that's too bad you legally couldn't inherit them from him. Like I said before... Move to a free state! Quote
Banshee Chad Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Worth a shot, if u don't like it, put a $100 scope and laser on it and sell it to some other nyer for twice as much. Quote

fappy'97 Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Incomplete lowers are everywhere. FOR NOW....... Buy one, meet a good machinist/gunsmithAssuming you're hinting towards someone finishing an 80% lower for someone else. That's not illegal, at all Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Right! It's not illegal at all. NOT YET. Although I think NY also has laws against ant ownership of such a fire arm past certain dates. Quote
Deadbeat Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 buy a M1 carbine the original manstopper 1 Quote
jbooker82 Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 buy a M1 carbine the original manstopper I think a Spring Field M1A would be pretty cool. Not nearly as cheap to shoot as 5.56 though. I kind of like the old Garand style action. Quote
