I could never live somewhere that has limits like that... But I also wouldn't live anywhere that I couldn't just drive 15 mins and be in the mtns. So if that stock is the loophole for now so u can have an ar.. Do it. But, without the availability to modify and such, no point in having an ar.. Just get a sweet ass bolt or lever action. If u want speed, go with lever. I just built a lower last night. Deciding on upper parts. If I had those restrictions, I'd just get sweet bolt action.
