Did you have to weld a tab to off set the bolt from hitting the shock or just drill the hole as far over as possible? I just got the race tech electric 200watt dc stator kit. Now I'm just trying to figure out a battery. Kinda looks like these can mount onto the trail tech round base which would not require cutting off the tabs. cary724 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Share Posted May 9, 2014 when i did lights, i cut off the plugs from the stock lights and used those. since these lights don't have a high/low beam, i wired the positive wire of the lights to both the high/low beam wires.
