beezy
Currently, mine is just zip tied to mount temporarily. So if you need a quick fix, you can do that. However, it looks like you can get an "L" bracket and mount it from the a mounting tab (the one mine is currently zip tied on, I'm pretty sure it was a mount for the air box) to the resivor. I too was wondering is there is a better way to do this, but from looking at it, the "L" bracket looks best to me.
Wassup350
I hear many people relocate it up front i beleive in front of the radiator or something. Its better to put it up there too because i guess coolant wont spit out or soemthing like that.
Leadfoot350
I was at RIS and saw that most of the bikes there mounted it to the braket that holded the black box for the tors under the left side of the gas tank. It looks like it was suposed to be there in the first place and opens up the rear for better looks.

SICK BOY
Fixitrod, how well does the bottle work up front?Have you any promlems with it like that? THANKS
fixitrod
It's the best thing I've done to the cooling system. It use to spit coolant and I'd have to fill it all the time. It would get low if I went on a whole day ride. I'd even worry if it were getting to low. I use to think it was overheating, but it wasn't. It was actually just siphoning itself out because the coolant bottle sits so high compared to the radiator. I straped it up under the front and rerouted the hose. Didn't have to refill it once last summer. A lot of peoplel eliminate the coolant bottle all together and don't have any trouble. I decided to keep mine so it can pull some in when it need it. And yes, it works that way. Holyman (I believe) proved that.
mrmatt
If you move the coolant bottle to the front, it is important to keep the coolant bottle overflow tube routed up the frame near the upper steering stem mount and then back down. If you simply route the overflow tube straight down to the ground, it will empty your coolant bottle in a single ride. By having the overflow tube go up first, and then down, it will allow the coolant that gets splashed into the tube to drain back into the tank, Instead of directly onto the ground. If you follow the directions on the Banshee Zone website, then you won't have this problem. I just don't always follow directions well. Here is the link to the directions: http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/tips.html
fixitrod
Click HERE to see how I moved the bottle. Actually, I left the overflow tube over my pipe so I could tell if it was spitting it out. Haven't had one problem in two years.
boonman
I believe this is holyman's bike, I don't remember anymore. Whosever it is, I hosted these pics, so here you go!! And here is my setup, I don't have a removeable cap like that, I just cut a hole, and put a rubber grommet in there... I have my bottle zip tied to the brace in the front of the frame. Holyman's (Or whosever that one is) has an aluminum andle bracket that he made himself....
