BenBB Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 The spark arrestor's function is to prevent, well, sparks from flyin' out the silencers. They are required in areas of US Forest Service and some BLM jurisdiction, where riding without them could start a forest fire. If you remove the endcaps on the stock silencers, it'll probably just be louder, chances are you won't see any performance increase or need to rejet for it. Quote
