Screamin_Demon Posted November 13, 2003 Report Share Posted November 13, 2003 Just remove the bottle, and the hose that goes from the bottom of the bottle up to the cap on the radiator. Personally, I'd leave it. Once removed you get coolant spewed everywhere, and i've seen it splatter in a guy's face before... could have done damage to his eyes, but he had goggles on. Spank_N_U Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 you could just relocate it to the front of the bike under the nose plastics...ive seen this done on alot of bikes. it supposedly eliminates the overflow of coolant onto your pipes. dunno...just seen alot of guys doin it and seen a how to somewhere but i dont remember where. Yamaha350T Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 You should just keep the bottle in the back, because it has a good chance of getting hit by something up front. If you have coolant going on your pipes, just get a longer hose to replace the one that comes down right above the pipes, thats what I did.
