gomerkfx700
Do they make 12mm lower bushings or do you guys just take your time and drill them out
gomerkfx700
I can get them drilled just figures someone made 12mm bushings were its a popular swap on other bikes
Coupelx
it will take more than your average drill bit to drill them. probably carbide. i found a piece of tubing that fit well with a bit of sanding and drilled it to fit the bolt. not a long wearing solution though but mine was for a drag bike. theres also the option of some bushings for the link to fit the smaller bolt.
Glenyboy
I got an engineer pal to drill it out with a pillar drill, it took no time. Try your local shop, they should use quality tools as standard and should only cost you a beer.
camatv
i just made 2 bushings out of moly.. BUT drilling with big stuff should work fine. if i rember right they are either to skinny or to wide to fit right also. might check that too. trickedcarbine
You can go to any autozone or whatever auto parts store and find doorman door bushings that fit in the dog bone and upper shock eyelets on the frame. Then run the R6 diameter bolts. Real hard to drill those things out if you're not equipped like the average machinist.

Pasi S.
I made shims from a 12/1mm copper pipe, and used 10mm bolts. I needed to sand alittle in and out of that pipe, but the job toked about 5 mins.
